Notivate operates recording studios in Northampton ("The Barford Suite") and Milton Keynes ("The Stables" in Wavendon):

The Studio @ The Stables

We offer a suite of recording and rehearsal facilities based at the prestigious yet intimate venue in Wavendon, Milton Keynes.  The Studio includes one back-stage control room and two main recording spaces – the Rehearsal Room and Live Stage (including Steinway 'A' grand piano) – as well as Dressing Room and Green Room facilities.  Thanks to our close links with both the music industry and learning community, we specialise in working with singer/songwriters and running young people’s projects (educational and therapeutic).  Our resident producer is also an experienced educator and performer, who offers advice and support where required - and we have a team of sound engineers available to provide technical expertise.

With up to 16 channels of simultaneous recording via our analogue desk, linked to PC, ADAT, DAT and/or Cassette, we offer a wide choice of out-board and software-based effects and processors, as well as both classic and modern sound modules.  Our extensive range of microphones enables us to meet the many and various requirements of our studio and auditorium.

The Barford Suite

For those who prefer a more "cosy" environment, our studio in Northampton offers a drum and control room, with a vocal booth, particularly suited to our extensive work with Singer/Songwriters, voice-overs and commissioned music for television, radio and video.   Many visitors appreciate this stress-free environment, suitable for those who wish to use our facilities to write and experiment.

In addition, clients can benefit from our excellent working-relationship with local recording studio, Mark One Digital in Rushden, with whom we regularly collaborate and whose facilities we often share.
